North British 12 Year Old 2011 (Master of Malt)
There are only a handful of dedicated grain distilleries in Scotland. Ask a whisky geek to name one and North British will likely come up as one of the top answers, and here we have a prime example of the magnificent single grain whisky that the Edinburgh-based distillery produces! Matured for a dozen years in a combo of first fill and refill hogsheads between 2011 and 2023, 479 bottles join our exclusive Master of Malt collection, non-chill filtered, and without added colour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh and vibrant with notes of yellow plum and apricot joined by roasted peanuts, buttered scones, and polished oak. Chalky sweets join in time, with foam bananas, and a touch of Caramac.
Palate
Runny, creamy caramel, brown sugar, milk bottle sweeties, and sweet nectarine. White chocolate and candied nuts join, with buttery, honeyed flapjack in tow.
Finish
Soft stone fruit sweetness lingers, alongside oaken vanilla, creamy milk chocolate a touch of orange zest, crisp oak, and fluffy sponge cake.
