New Riff Straight Bourbon

A Kentucky Straight Bourbon from the ever-wonderful New Riff! There's a fairly generous amount of rye in the mash bill, 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, so expect a good helping of spice alongside the sweeter, buttery notes. It's aged in toasted and charred new oak barrels before bottling at 50% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Dulche de leche and cinnamon buns, with forest berries and green oak.

Palate Orange curd and more cinnamon, with mint chocolate and creamy vanilla.

Finish Cooked dark berries, a dash of white pepper and caramel.

Reviews for New Riff Straight Bourbon
Top Notch Bourbon
Stunning bourbon that will challenge your preconceptions of what bourbon can be. Lots of spice in the mouth feel but glides down almost to easily leaving you begging for more. Also works very well in an old fashioned with a demerara sugar to add depth and richness.

Very nice indeed
Delicious! Caramel, vanilla, spice and a touch of pepper. A little overpriced compared to similar drams on the maket.

Amazing.
Wow. Love this. Smooth, sweet butterscotch tones with clear Rye tones. Definitely recommend. 2 tone Bottle is stunning too.
