Nc'nean Whisky Batch 8 Bottling Note

It's batch number eight of Nc'nean's Organic Single Malt Whisky! These expressions are always marvellous, having been made with organic Scottish barley that is treated to a gentle fermentation and distillation, letting those delicious fruity notes develop in the spirit. Following that, it's matured in a combination of STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) red wine casks and bourbon casks, bringing yet more fruity notes to the palate, along with creamy vanilla and a whisper of spice. The distinctive bottle Nc'nean presents its whisky in is 100% recycled glass, and looks fabulous too.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Strawberry and orange, digestive biscuits, some rounded honey notes.

Palate: Almonds, softly toasted sesame seeds, apricot jam, crisp pear, crystallised ginger.

Finish: Orange, white chocolate, and drying cedar.
