Safe Haven is a mystery single malt brought to us by Murray McDavid. We have a few clues about its origin from the indie bottler, for instance, the distillery was first built on the west coast of Scotland in 1798, and its original name also meant 'safe haven'. This heavily peated single malt finished its eight-year maturation with a six-month stay in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola in Jerez.
