Independently bottled Mortlach, aged in a refill hogshead for 7 years - from 2010 to 2017. This comes from Langside's Hepburn's Choice range, bottled with an outturn of 404 bottles.
Meaty barley with a touch of grist behind it. Dried hay, caramel and black pepper.
Pear skin, oily hops, spiced rum warmth and a hint of vanilla sponge.
Subtly flinty, with touches of sultana lingering.
