Sherry
25 year old Mortlach aged in a Sherry butt here - sounds mighty delicious, doesn't it? This was distilled in August 1990 and bottled in August 2016 after a quarter of a century in the aforementioned Sherry butt. It was bottled for the Chieftain's range by Ian Macleod, with 675 bottles produced.
Cinnamon, brown sugar, diced raisins drizzled with rum, a touch of smoked meats.
Plum and red apple. More raisins develop, along with touch of chocolate biscuits.
Summer berries and Mocha. Simmering cooking spices.
