25 year old single malt from the Mortlach distillery, drawn from a single cask which was filled in May 1990 and cracked open in July 2015. This was bottled by Gleann Mór for the A Rare Find range, with only 164 bottles produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Heavy vanilla influence from the start, followed by toasted brown bread and bitter marmalade.
Palate
Coconut, flamed orange peel, smoke and intense exotic spice.
Finish
Red chilli, peppered oak and a soft note of caramel.
