A Càrn Mòr bottling of 21 year old Mortlach single malt, drawn from a single hogshead. This was distilled in july 1995 and set aside to mature until April 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of only 243 bottles for the Celebration of the Cask range.
Waxy apples and oranges, followed by a touch of roasted pineapple. Quite malty at points.
More meaty malt, with a honey glaze over the top. A kick of ginger and nutmeg develops.
Quite long and oily.
