20 year old Mortlach, independently bottled by Duncan Taylor as part of their excellent Octave range. This was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 after spending 8 months in a tiny octave cask. Only 74 bottles were produced.
Roasted peanuts and meaty malt, joined by chocolate shop aromas.
An intense whack of cinnamon and black pepper, tempered slightly by cookie dough and spun sugar.
Drying spices, more meaty malt.
