A wonderfully retro-looking bottling of Mortlach single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery Labels series. This expression was matured for 15 years before being handsomely bottled, and the label looks to feature a rather fierce bird on it. Is that the "Beast of Dufftown" we've heard so much about?!
Stewed fruit and sherried malt, with a hint of clove spiciness.
Robust barley notes at the core, soon joined by strawberry bonbons and cinnamon sticks.
A hint of new leather and orange peel.
