Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Sweet mincemeat and vanilla lead to toffee and spice on the nose, followed by a velvety caramel forward palate that leads to gentle wood spice on the finish.

Mortlach 10 Years Old 2000 - The Coopers Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.) Reviews

Toffee & vanilla with chilli peppers

Has potential but a bit blunt and lacking in depth. Surprisingly grassy on the nose with heavy chilli peppers on the palate. Sweet toffee & vanilla.

At that price, would buy again if it was available.

Wow, very different nose like those giant multi-colored lolipops they sold at circuses or specialty candy shops, peach, cherry, creamy vanilla; intense sweet malted barley, creamy, satisfying, vanilla yogurt; sweetness fades quickly on the finish, but lingering mild spices and hint of not unpleasant bitterness. A really nice Mortlach.
