Miyagikyo 1988

Miyagikyo 1988 Bottling Note

A blend of four different styles of Miyagikyo whisky (with varying levels of peat). This was matured in a recharred casks and a sherry butt, will sell out very fast!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dry sherry wood, toffee apples, hints of under-ripe plum and maybe even a chocolate.

Palate: Big on zesty malt and sweet spices with tiny hint of tangy mature cheddar in the background. Impeccable oak.

Finish: Sweet, balanced oak lasts long into a barley driven finish.
