Midleton 46 Year Old 1973 - Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection Chapter Two 70cl Whiskey

When you saw the first release in Midleton's Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection and thought "Cor, how are they going to follow that?!" Well, this is how. Chapter Two of the Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection is an astonishing 46 year old single pot still whiskey which was distilled at the Old Midleton Distillery back in 1973 (two years before it shut its doors). The whiskey has spent time in bourbon, sherry, and Port casks, and was finally matured in a third-fill bourbon cask before being bottled up in immensely snazzy crystal decanters from House of Waterford. Each one comes in a presentation box made by Irish designer and woodworker John Galvin, alongside a 50ml miniature of the same whiskey.
