Description
A cask strength edition of Michter's Straight Rye whiskey, bottled up at a bold 54.9% ABV. A full-bodied treat from the impressive Kentucky distillery, with richly charred oak, caramelised fruit, and peppery heat, it's a cracker for sipping, and ought to make some rather special Manhattans.

Nose
Stewed currants and berries with richly charred oak, woody spice, and chocolate raisins.
Palate
Oily oak and buttery toffee cushion a powerful portion of rye spice, with a hint of wood smoke in the distance.
Finish
Pepper and fiery cinnamon linger, joined by that dense oak char.
