Bomberger's Declaration - 2021 Release
Behold, the 2021 release of Bomberger's Declaration Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey! This expression is created by the Michter's team, as an homage to the Pennsylvania-based distillery which was originally called the Bomberger Distillery, though changed its name to Michter's in the 1970s. Later, in the 1990s, that distillery would close, but Michter's would be back, now in Kentucky, making some excellent whiskeys – like this one!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Melted butter, toast with marmalade, a hint of cassia.
Palate
Chocolatey at first, before the citrus notes arrive again, alongside almond pastries and new oak warmth.
Finish
Cinnamon and ginger, with layers of caramel in support.
