Secret Speyside Distillery 8 Year Old 2014 Single Cask (Master of Malt Island)

Join us on our mission to change the face of the future of whisky, one bag of sand at a time! Don't worry, we're not distilling sand, but what we are doing is what they call crowdfunding, with the aim of eventually gathering enough funds to create a new Scottish island! It might sound like a farce, but they've done it in Dubai, so we know our theory is sound. By investing in this bottle of whisky, a superb eight-year-old single malt from an undisclosed distillery Speyside, you'll become one of the first 100 supporters of the Master of Malt Island, and you'll get a fancy certificate to prove it. A release of 100 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Superbly fresh and fruity with notes of apples and peaches joined by fresh bread dough, shortbread, sawdust, vanilla pods, and rice pudding.

Palate

Soft and delicate, with fresh fruit salad and a dusting of icing sugar. There are notes of apple, honeydew melon, and soft stone fruits, with a trickle of honey and Anzac biscuits in tow.

Finish

Marshmallow sweetness lingers, with soft summer fruits, peach, vanilla ice cream, and buttery oak.
