Rye 7 Year Old (Master of Malt) 70cl Whiskey

We watched a small parcel of rye casks for four years, and one kept drawing us back. Made with a 95% rye mashbill and matured in new oak, this seven-year-old has a curious smoky note running through it, giving its character an intriguing extra dimension. Naturally, we tried it in a few classic cocktails. Research is important. That waft of smoke brought a welcome savoury edge to the results, making this a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned base you'll want to try. It was bottled at a cask strength of 54.9% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour, with 295 bottles available.
