Irish Whiskey 8 Year Old - ‘90s Retro Football Edition (Master of Malt)
This magnificent Irish whiskey blend is draped in a beautiful ‘90s retro kit label. The era when Opel sponsored Ireland’s shirts was the golden one in Irish football history, with keen-eyed football fans recognising this one as referencing the 1994 World Cup home shirt. Two distinct casks came together to create the whiskey itself, a 12-year-old red wine cask and an eight-year-old first-fill bourbon cask. Together, they deliver a medley of tannic oak, juicy melon, and vanilla custard. It’s a deliciously moreish dram, of which only 66 bottles were ever filled.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Palate
Some oak, some tannins, then fleshy sweetness lifts it all.
