An English Distillery 12 Year Old 2013 - ‘90s Retro Football Edition (Master of Malt)
This English whisky joins our exclusive ‘90s Retro Football collection. Distilled in 2013 and matured for a dozen years in a single bourbon cask, bold layers of malt and vanilla are backed by rich oak, cereal, and fresh fruit. Just 240 bottles were filled at 54% ABV. Does anyone recognise the label? It was inspired by the away kit the England team wore to the 1998 World Cup. If you love your ‘90s retro football kits (what good football fan doesn’t?) then you’ll appreciate this.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Luscious oak, fudgy maltiness, vanilla and cedar.
Palate
Strong and bold, takes water well, revealing melon rind, molasses, ice cream and waffles.
Finish
Oak and malt, cereal but fruity and fresh.
