Distilled in May 2016, this glorious Speyside single malt spent eight years residing in a single refill hogshead. The cask was cracked open by us here at Master of Malt in April 2025, releasing 499 bottles for our own Master of Malt collection. With bright notes of green apple, crunchy brown sugar, and gentle ginger warmth, one of those easy sippers that'll be gone before you know it.
Porridge, yeasty bread dough, and buttery, crumbly apple pastries join overripe fruit, creamy grist, and vanilla. A funky touch of Stilton, cured meat, and fig chutney nestles subtly beneath.
Butterscotch, feather cake, and a touch of candyfloss, with waves of creamy rice pudding, green apple, then hints of tea loaf, and banana chips. Savoury notes of cream crackers and gentle oak develop in time.
Creamy Caramac, toffee yoghurt, praline, and milky cereal, buttered bread, yeasty malt, delicate hints of grapefruit, ginger, and subtle wood polish.
