This edition of Mars Komagatake single malt from Japan's Shinshu distillery was initially matured in bourbon casks, before being treated to a finish in IPA beer barrels from the neighbouring Minami Shinshu brewery. Zesty notes of citrus and herbaceous hops bring a gently bitter finish to the oaken vanilla and oily malt beneath.
