A 9 year old single malt from the Mannochmore Distillery, which has been matured in a single refill sherry hogshead cask. After its nearly-decade-long rest, it was bottled up by Claxton's, with an outturn of 299 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grist and sultana, with soft hints of candle wax and chocoalte cake.
Palate
Summer fruit tart with a dusting of icing sugar and a little salted caramel sauce. A hint of spicy nutmeg grows.
Finish
Subtle leather and hickory.
