Mannochmore single malt, distilled in 2010 and matured for a dozen years in a red wine barrique. The whisky joins the indie collection from North Star Spirits with a release of 535 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft stone fruits, jammy summer berries, floral honey, and a smidge of candied ginger.
Palate
Layers of juicy, stewed berry sweetness and rich roasted barley, with candied nuts and stewed apricot.
Finish
Red fruits linger, with buttery pastry and dustings of caramelised brown sugar.
