A rare indie bottling of single malt from the Mannochmore distillery - always a treat! This one was aged in a first-fill bourbon barrel for 10 years, from September 2007 to May 2018. Following maturation it was bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen Range, producing 221 cask-strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttered teacake, dried apricot, quince jam, five-spice and caramel.
Palate
Strawberry sweetness arrives first, followed by muscovado sugar and banana.
Finish
Lingering fruitcake notes, with a touch of walnut.
