Loch Dhu Bottling Note

Look at how dark this whisky is! That's why it was named "The Black Whisky". Loch Dhu is actually Gaelic for "Black Lake", this was distilled at Mannochmore and has gained a cult status, quite a collector's item.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

The Marmite of scotch
You either love it or hate it.
Super expensive, not bad but wouldn't drink it everyday.
Fortunately, I have 2 more bottles...

NOOOOOOOO
Had an oppurtunity to try this whisky the other day. It was terrible. 1)you cant expect a whisky of 10 years old to be dark at all. 2)It is riddles with carramell. 3)It is a great whisky to prove that you can taste e150a as this poisions the whisky.

Loch Dhu no more
Thoroughly enjoyed two bottles of this fine but unusual malt, only to find out later how much it would now be worth.
Fortunately it was shared with some fine friends and no regrets.
RIP Loch Dhu.
