Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery Labels series of independently bottled whiskies grows once more, with this Longmorn single malt! Distilled in 2005, the Speysider was matured in a combination of first-fill sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon casks until 2020. The series is all about rare whiskies and retro labels, and this one doesn't disappoint!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange marmalade, spiced orchard fruit, caramelised almond, and anise.
Palate
Black pepper and milk chocolate, followed by dried fruits, coffee ice cream, and fresh berries.
Finish
Oak char and spiced nuts.
