A classic label for a classy whisky. This 12 year old Longmorn single malt Scotch whisky has been given a snazzy make-over by Gordon and MacPhail as part of their Distillery Labels series of independent bottlings. The whisky is matured in refill sherry butts.
The sherry cask maturation is felt right from the start with a richly intense nose, brimming with spice and fruity aromas. Cracking!
The spices develop on the palate, gaining a peppery quality. Fruit cake sits in the background, bursting with raisins and figs.
A full, medium length finish.
Lively and lush, this Longmorn is ludicrously lovely!
