Longmorn 11yo 2008 #1229 Bottling Note

This indie Longmorn was distilled in October 2008 and left in a single American oak barrel for over a decade. After 11 years, Bartels Whisky bottled it up for the Highland Laird series in November 2019, with just 252 cask strength bottles released at 56.8% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla buttercream and fresh toast with jam, with touches of apple blossom.

Palate: Oaky vanilla, lemon peel and mint chocolate alongside blueberry muffin.

Finish: Baking spices appear on the finish with sweet malt.
