A satisfying, subtly peated single malt Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond. The distillery is renowned for being able to produce a multitude of whisky styles, including single malt (like the one you see before your eyes right now), single grain and blends. Versatile and talented, those Loch Lomond distillers...
Caramel, oily walnut, a touch of dusty oak smokiness.
Digestive biscuits and ginger snaps. Subtle vegetal notes develop later on.
Diced almond, coffee bean, toasted malt.

the nose is not very nice at all, its not a nose you would savour, the taste however is very reasonable ,its good a pleasant burn, not too lingering, theres a liqurice edge that is far from bad, its more engaging than i thought it would be, i must say it could grow on me fast,
Initially young tasting, then mellows into a mature creamy and soft peaty delight
good every day whisky slightly smoky with a bit of a toffee taste too it nice and smooth easy drinking good for price too
Excellent, well made for lower priced malt, slight peat smooth
A Lovely Single Malt , that Burns on the way down with lots of after notes , and flourishes into the nostrils and sinus cavities with a wonderful aroma .... I'm going to be having another one of these ... Cheers and a Merry Christmas to one and all 2015
