Blimey, that isn't a typo up there at the top, this really is a 46 year old single malt from Loch Lomond! The distillery's stills boast a unique design, enabling greater flexibility during production, and allowing it to produce a remarkable array of whisky in various styles. This bottle right here is the second release to join the Remarkable Stills series, created to honour those extraordinary stills! Distilled in 1974 in the aforementioned stills, this unpeated expression was initially matured in re-fill American oak casks, where it remained for four years before transferred into a selection of first-fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Limited to 200 bottles, each displaying the distillery emblem, infilled with copper. With an engraved wooden cork, a copper plaque for a label, and housed in a hand-made oak box, this ought to make a stunning centerpiece for a whisky collection.
