Description

Distilled at Loch Lomond, this single malt was released under the Inchmurrin name and bottled as part of the independent Ainneamh collection. Matured for 19 years and bottled at cask strength – a chunky 63.2%, this is a wonderful beast of a single cask bottling.

Nose

Warm apple sauce and buttery pastry, sweet cereal, pear, and cinnamon.

Palate

Pangs of marmalade and candied apricot, stewed apples and pears with winter spices and malty oak.

Finish

Spicy on the finish with a lingering prickle of pepper amongst sweeter spiced fruits.
