Edinburgh's Port of Leith distillery presents the third batch of its ongoing blended Scotch whisky, Perpetuity! Inspired by the concept of the infinity bottle, the Leith gang began with a blend of exemplary casks of single grain and single malt Scotch whisky. Each time a batch is bottled, further casks of different whisky are added to the blend, before half of that is bottled for future batches. This process will be repeated again and again, with each batch evolving into an ever more complex blend, assembled from multiple spirits.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rich layers of toffee, cooked apple, smoked cherries and earthy black tea, with oaken vanilla and just a touch of soft peat smoke.

Palate Sweet notes of toffee apple, fruit crumble, vanilla cream, and plump sultanas, with hints of dark fruit and delicate smoke.

Finish Gentle spices, burnt biscuits, cherry jam, marmalade, a warming touch of cinnamon and nutmeg.
