Description

The Laphroaig The Cask Legacy was originally a travel retail-exclusive single malt, bottled as part of the Cask Collection and created to celebrate the founding of the Islay distillery in 1815. It was inspired by the robust and edgy whiskies of that time and so it reflects that character. The single malt Scotch whisky was bottled at 48% ABV.

Nose

Burned flesh of apricots and raisins, old leather and moist charcoal.

Palate

Peat smoke with soft, spicy oak notes and caramelized dark fruits followed by nutty notes and juicy dried fruits

Finish

Smoke and wood treated with oil.
