Laphroaig
Càirdeas 200th Anniversary - Fèis Ìle 2015 Whisky
Customer Rating
“I ordered a bottle of the 2016 from my local liquor store, and they delivered the 2015 instead. I tried it. I should first say that I've been drinking Laphroaig since 1972, when I was finally old enough to appreciate a single malt scotch. So, as I said, I tasted it. I was initially appalled. Then it began to change in my mouth, and in the glass. The aroma took on the distinct character of caramel and a sweetness I can't describe, while the flavor became a robust floral explosion with the least amount of peat that I've even tasted in a Laphroaig. I'm sure glad that i got the wrong bottling. The very next day I bought another bottle, which, as it turned out, was the last one left in my entire State. ”
