Laphroaig 25yo 2018

Laphroaig's whiskies have a reputation for being punchy and full-flavoured. Cask strength bottlings only serve to delicious reinforce that opinion. So, if you fancy something particularly full-on, you can't go wrong with the 2018 bottling of Laphroaig's cask strength 25 year old single malt! It was matured in ex-bourbon casks then bottled at a weighty 52% ABV, and each bottle comes alongside its own presentation cask too.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Phenols and sea spray, with underlying mature oak warmth.

Palate Heavy notes of medicinal peat smoke, joined by peppercorn, cut grass, a hint of milky coffee, orange oil cutting through.

Finish Lasting bonfire embers and a few hints of honeyed barley.
