A single cask single malt from the Laphroaig Distillery on Islay's south coast, independently bottled by The Character of Islay Whisky Company! Released as part of The Stories of Wind & Wave series, this expression aged for 15 years in a refill bourbon barrel, before being bottled up at cask strength. Exceptional Islay deliciousness here.

Nose
Tarry ropes and sea spray, with lingering apricot and quince.
Palate
Frazzles, coconut shavings, slow building oak and toasted spices.
Finish
Charcoal smokiness and a lingering hint of dried fruit.
