When the then Prince Charles awarded Laphroaig with his royal warrant in June 1994, the Islay distillery began to produce special bottlings for Highgrove, his Gloucestershire Estate. This single malt was distilled in 1998, matured in a single cask, and bottled at 12 years old in 2010.
