Single malt, dedicated to the founder of the Langatun Distillery in Switzerland, Jakob Baumberger. Matured in only the best, specially selected, but undisclosed casks, this certainly does showcase the legacy of skill and tradition at the distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Jam tarts and black forest gateaux, roasted nuts and sweet, mellow malt.
Palate
Bolder malt and punchy oak, dark cherries and berries, dark chocolate raisins, vanilla and clove spice.
Finish
Ginger and pepper spice come through, toasty charred heather and lingering oak.
