Porridge with generous helpings of honey and raisins. Hints of oily walnut and blackcurrant.
Strawberry boiled sweeties, juicy barley, sugared almond.
Old leather, lingering dark chocolate and orange peels.
Recently had a bottle of this, was delicious. Whilst I can't taste all the notes, what I did get was a lovely oakiness with a and a extremely long finish! Would definitely get another bottle
Delicious. distinctive, full of character, super rich and spicy to start, with a long finish in which the flavours develop and change further. This is a great whiskey to have in my collection and I can see it being part of every tasting.
