15 year old single malt from the Knockando Distillery in the Speyside region. This is the 2003, which was bottled after a decade and a half of maturation, allowing the whisky to develop a creamy, honeyed, fruity flavour profile.
Nose Mocha, nectarine, banana fritters and barley.
Palate Runny caramel, milk chocolate, solid malt and oak underpinning it.
Finish Slightly oily, with enough grape and apple notes for balance.
