It's the 1998 vintage 15 year old expression from the Knockando distillery in Speyside. Aged in a combination of Sherry and bourbon casks, this mostly certainly lives up to the tagline on the label - "Richly Matured".
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate muffins, cooked apple and a few fragrant hints of floral malt.
Palate
Rounded red fruit notes arrive on the palate, joined by banana fritters and toasted teacakes.
Finish
Mocha and raisins, with a little hint of cinnamon.
