    Kininvie 25 Year Old 1990 (cask 21) - 'The First Drops' (Special Release #1)

    Kininvie Special Release #1 sees three single casks from the distillery's inaugural run bottled for release (cask 8 released in Taiwan, cask 20 in Europe and cask 21 in the UK). In total, just 1,600 dinky 35cl bottles have been released (550 from this cask), from some of 'The First Drops' to run from the stills.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Honeyed, with fleshy fruit, vanilla and some oat biscuit notes.

    Palate

    A core of creamy oatmeal or porridge is joined by citrus, more vanilla, red apple, and orchard fruit.

    Finish

    Syrupy caramel spice.
