The bourbon matches the bottle!
It's rare to get a novelty bottle, let alone a huge one, that contains mash worth drinking, let alone paying for. YOU know what I mean. A funny-shaped bottle can hide all sorts of garbage in plain sight. This is one heck of an exception. The taste is pretty darned unique and you'll like it or you won't, but it's definitely one for the bar in any home that values keeping an array of bourbons - it sure is memorable.
Did I mention the bottle is worth the price alone if you want an imposingly garish still pot decanter?

Top shelf Bourbon at mid-shelf price........
Rowan Creek has been my Nō1 until now! Not realising willetts is from the same distillery, I tried a few yesterday. I now have a new Nō1 and at a good price. The bottle is also great!

This ain't no rot gut sir
There is a special place between enhancing the flavors and covering them up. It is hard to do. This bourbon is sitting in that special place. It's like Americanized Italian food compared to Italian: Here in America we tend to add so many "Italian" herbs and spices that we cover up the natural flavors, or we add too little and it is bland. Simplicity with the correct amount and the right parings and it is a spiritual experience.
