That Boutique-y Whisky Company
Single Malt

The fourth batch of Jura single malt Scotch, independently bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Distilled back in September 1998, this one was treated to a 20 year stay in a single hogshead cask, safely protected from the large deer population on Jura. Deer aren't actually known to drink whisky (as far as we know), but we wouldn't put anything past the intimidating one on the label.
Batch 4 is a release of 198 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Lots of creamy vanilla and caramel lead with cake batter, floral malt and pear jam in support, then dry oak, cinnamon and lemon cheesecake.
Honeyed-drenched pear, earthy vanilla pod and fragrant wood smoke initially. Orange syrup, buttered soda bread and baking spices add depth with gingersnaps and tangy passion fruit in the backdrop.
Sea salt, oak spice and a touch of honey.
