This 10-year-old single malt was part of Jura's core range through the 2000s and 2010s, before it underwent a revamp in 2018. A nice find for a retro collection or a nostalgic tasting.

very good starter whisky, perfect ratio of quality and price, taste light, smooth with delicate honey notes
If a proper sip is taken, it's not insipid at all, though everything is very front of palate. warming though, salt and malt basically with a few peppery tones - can't help but think some livelier fruit and a touch of spice would have rounded it off nicely. cup of Earl Grey is a good pre-dram drink
WOW Jura, this ia a Top quality malt Whisky. Best I have tasted. (It was bought as a Gift for 30 yrs service.) Loved it.
To me this is very easy drinking. Not the most complex but very easy drinking. After discovering malt through heavily peated Islays this is fresh with sea tones and a touch of sweetness/honey. I much prefer this to their more expensive and more mature oferings. My current favourite.
I first bought this malt in Oban after spending an afternoon on Juru to always remind me of the wonderful swim with seals that I had in the bay just up the road from the distillery. A wonderful whisky from a magical place especially when the mist comes down over the paps.
