Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Ghost & Rare Port Ellen
The second release from Johnnie Walker's Ghost & Rare series features whisky from one of the most legendary closed distilleries - Port Ellen. Alongside the revered Islay whisky in the blend are whiskies from two closed grain distilleries (Carsebridge and Caledonian), as well as malts from Mortlach, Oban, Blair Athol, Cragganmore and Dailuaine.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salted butter, marmalade on toast, elegant peat smoke and oat cakes.
Palate
Perfumed malt and orange blossom, balanced by salty sea air and coal dust. Subtle clove brings heat.
Finish
Continued peat smoke sticks around for a good long while of the finish.
