This could double as paint stripper or run a two-stroke engine for a good 8 hours. Very handy to keep in the shed if you need to polish any copper or antique silverware.
This is not bad stuff at all. For its price a sturdy and enjoyable blend best or mixed
Worst whiskey
JW Red was one of my first sips, I remember when I first tried the red when I was in a bar.. had a shot and it was smooth and gentle enough for the age and the price of this one. One thing about Johnnie Walker is that I always find the same note in all of the 3 whiskies I've had from them, red blue and black. They all have that same spicy flavour if you know what I mean, a smooth spicy taste. Anyways, after drinking more than just the red for the past years I find it to be pretty flat with low flavour contrast. I don't know what it is, guess I climbed the ladder a bit, but for me it was a good beginner scotch. 3-3.5 stars for this one.
I've drunk more complex, expensive whisky which is less satisfying.
