Jameson Crested Ten Bottling Note

Crested Ten was first released by Jameson in 1963, when the whiskey bonding trade was dying out. With a high proportion of pot still and Sherry-matured whiskeys, this is a top Irish blend, a real gem.

Jameson Crested Ten Reviews

Very good for the price

Good for the price. Much prefer Redbreast 12 and if you can afford it, the 15 or 21.

Unlike any other

Amazing whiskey, my now soulmate brought me back a taster over two years ago with two mini bottles of crested ten, two bottles of caskmates and one Jameson "flagship". Both the caskmate and the crested ten blew me away, its a shame we'll never be able to taste it again☹

Wish it were here

My daughters brought me back a bottle after they visited Ireland. I have a reason to go. Just wish it were available in the US.

Try before you die....

My son and I just returned from Ireland.I 'm a Irish drinker, but being from Canada we never see this brand of Jameson over here. Don't let the price fool you, this is quality from the nose to finish, extreme quality.
Long story short ,we brought 4 bottles back....shhhh

Dissapointed, unfortunately...

Is used to be a great, complex blend (excellent nose, great taste, a bit too short finish, quite obvious for blends)...but my last bottle of this is a different story: yeah, the nose is still OK, BUT taste has changed dramatically! A lot corn whiskey there, young corn whiskey-sweet, oily, rough - Maybe it's just bad batch, it doesn't matter, I will not buy it anymore.
PS
There is a huge demand for Irish stuff (especially pot still)-production is rising, quality is going down? I got my answer...

Hopelessly underrated.

My absolute favourite - but not easy to obtain. Someone put me onto it in Dublin airport after an unsuccessful 5 nations outing in the 1980s. The English blew the Rugby but at least I had a consolation prize. I've enjoyed it ever since. Smooth!

Crested Ten - Sadly Discontinued

A lovely whisky now no longer available generally. The new version called just Crested is being offered sometimes it its place. The Crested Ten comes with a presentation box, Crested does not.
This seller is one of the few offering the original version. Always better to check though before stock goes. This will become very collectable for sure.

Crested ten excellent on taste and price for pot still lovers

Fantastic example of an Irish pot still whiskey and the complexity of the malted and unmalted barley oats nutty and the smoothness of olorosso sherrywood upon it ......with possibly a single malt scotch like The Macallan to rival it ....but big difference on the price as well as process .. Joxer Catterall.Bolton.

The original is king

This is good but feels as thought it's missing a little something. The original is full and golden-smooth but this is 'nice too'.

Fantastic treat

I was introduced to this whiskey while touring Ireland and stopping at the Jameson Distillery. I do love my Jameson, but this is just a little smoother and very pleasant to sip.

Jamie Campbell

Quite the smoothest whiskey of any description or origination that I've tasted.

For price and quality against other whiskey and higher priced Jameson whiskeys its perfect start to finish. Excellent

A smooth and beautifully balanced whiskey with dominant vanilla/caramel notes. Probably the finest Irish Blended whiskey..
