Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.

Palate Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.

Finish Medium-length with spice and honey.

Great whiskey
This is one of my favourite whiskey's. I can't understand why some other reviewers do not like it.
If I am out with friends we always end the evening with a Jameson's.
I usually have it as a chaser with a pint of Guinness, lovely.
One of life's simple pleasures. As another reviewer said, I would bring it to a desert island as a treat if I had to choose something.

better than ferrero roche and i have the ambassadors word on that
Having been a founder member and past chairman of The Connemara single malt society , the other member the chairman and myself spent many a pleasant evening with a glass or two of Jameson. I was the executive chef of a boutique hotel and the chairman was the hotel owner , we had many a guest join us , once even the British ambassador (some african nation we could never remember and after a night drinking with us i dont believe the ambassador could remember either) . Great days well nights actually ,waterford crystal and a bottle of Jameson

Amazing
The tasting notes are spot on and this whisky is deserving of a premiur shelf in any cabinet, and I usually really dislike the taste of Irish Whiskey.

Noice!
Really drinkable actually, plenty of fresh orchard notes, easy on the spice, no harshness worth naming. I’ve put of buying any as it’s not Scotch but I will certainly buy again.

Perfectly acceptable, but not great
It’s a perfectly drinkable whiskey - better than some of the cheap blended scotch whisky such as Whyte & Mackay, but it’s quite a lot more expensive, and not worth the extra.

Used to love Jameson :(
Don't know if it's a batch problem or if the overall quality of maturation went down, but I get plenty of vanilla flavored Polish vodka notes here

A great whisky
A consistently delicious whisky. If I had to take just one whisky on to the desert island or grab at the beginning of the end of the world...I think it would be this one.
