Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.

Palate: Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.

Finish: Medium-length with spice and honey.

Jameson Irish Whiskey Reviews

Amazing

The tasting notes are spot on and this whisky is deserving of a premiur shelf in any cabinet, and I usually really dislike the taste of Irish Whiskey.

Delicious

Simply delicious. Sweet and mellow at bargain basement prices

Noice!

Really drinkable actually, plenty of fresh orchard notes, easy on the spice, no harshness worth naming. I’ve put of buying any as it’s not Scotch but I will certainly buy again.

Perfectly acceptable, but not great

It’s a perfectly drinkable whiskey - better than some of the cheap blended scotch whisky such as Whyte & Mackay, but it’s quite a lot more expensive, and not worth the extra.

Used to love Jameson :(

Don't know if it's a batch problem or if the overall quality of maturation went down, but I get plenty of vanilla flavored Polish vodka notes here

A great whisky

A consistently delicious whisky. If I had to take just one whisky on to the desert island or grab at the beginning of the end of the world...I think it would be this one.

Ethanol

Overrated whisky tastes like turpentine. Not nice one the nose and no real taste or complexity to it wouldn't recommend

Best value whiskey out there

It's a quality whiskey at an entry level price point. To my mind, it's the best mainstream "cheap" whiskey out there, particularly for anyone that's just starting into whiskey and a great benchmark to measure against any whiskies you're trying that are 5-20 quid more expensive.
You'll likely find plenty you enjoy more than this over time but it's a brilliant one to start off on when you're still figuring out what exactly you're looking for in a whiskey. And even then, when you can occasionally pick up a jameson on sale for about 20 euro or so you'll still probably go back.
And for people that don't really love the taste of whiskey it goes very well with ginger ale and a wedge of lime.
