Jameson Black Barrel is a special blend of Jameson Irish Whiskey, made with aged double-distilled spirits and matured in deep charred oak barrels. The result is a smoother, richer whiskey with a complex taste. Jameson Black Barrel is perfect for sipping neat or on the rocks.
Jameson Black Barrel (AKA Small Batch) is a super release from Jameson, with a high proportion of Irish pot still whiskey as well as small-batch grain. The result is an increased body and level of richness when compared to the core expression. It's aged in double charred first-fill bourbon casks (black barrels). Well worth a look...
*UK (excluding Channel Islands) and retail only. Offer from 28 02 2025, while stock lasts.
Rich and fruity with notes of tropical fruits, coconut, nectarines in yoghurt, guava and a thick core of sweet cereals.
Thick and full on the palate, with an intense, unctuous creaminess, alongside dates, walnuts and peels. Good peach and coconut notes, and a little cinnamon.
Long finish, and very fruity with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg and hints of potpourri.

Not a bad whiskey by any means, but if you like whisky it's probably not for you. Smooth enough to be enjoyed neat. Not what I think of when going for an Irish drop. For me too much toffee, molasses sweetness etc
Oh my god,I was 60 in March and I was given 2 bottles of Jameson’s Black Barrel. But I thought I will keep this for Xmas but unfortunately my father in law died during the COVID crisis on 7th July and I cracked the two bottles open. It was smooth tasting and mellow it was Gorgeous.
Delicious and rich with that beautiful guava aroma on the nose. The following morning the unwashed glass smelled lightly of iodine(!)
Beautiful stuff love it well worth the money
This is honestly one of my Favourite whiskeys. It’s ideal with ice; drunk straight or with a mixer if that suits you. It’s quite sweet, easy drinking and profoundly rich.
